Trenton Walks! With Dan Benson

Streetscape Improvements in South Broad StreetArea
On Sunday, March 29, Mercer County Executive Dan Benson will share exciting plans to create a welcoming and connected streetscape in the South Broad Street area that brings people together, supports local businesses and capitalizes on civic and cultural spaces. His revitalization plans will also improve the pedestrian and cycling experience. Planned stops on the 2.1-mile walk include the Eagle Tavern, Clinton & Roebling Lofts, Millyard Park and Casa Cultura.
Attendees will meet at the main entrance of the Mercer County Administration Building, 640 S. Broad Street at 1 p.m. Plenty of free parking is available in the county lot off South Broad Street for those who drive to the event. The meeting place is also accessible by public transit. The expected end to the walk is 3 p.m.
This walk was first scheduled to take place on Feb.8, but severe winter weather forced its postponement.
