America at 250: RECONSTRUCTIONS
PRINCETON UNIVERSITY PANEL DISCUSSION, including Julian Zelizer
Wednesday, February 17 @ noon
Roberson Hall
Free Event
As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, join us for an expert panel discussion examining how the nation has repeatedly reinvented itself—and what those moments of transformation can teach us today. The discussion brings together faculty experts across history, national security, law, race and equity, and politics. The panel will explore past and present “reconstructions,” democratic resilience, constitutional change, civil-military relations, and the enduring struggles over rights, power, and inclusion.
Moderated by Anastasia Mann, Lecturer and Founding Director, SPIA in NJ, with panelist professors Nolan McCarty, Deborah Pearlstein, Khalil G. Muhammad, and Julian Zelizer.
Open to the public, check the flyer for further details.
