Wednesday, September 24 from 12:15 to 1 p.m.
Walkers will meet representatives of the City of Trenton’s Department of Health & Human Services and the Progressive Center for Independent Living for a very special walk through the northern half of Mercer County’s South Riverwalk Park. All will enjoy an easy stroll through the linear park that features gazebos, benches, lots of historical displays, and stunning views of the Delaware River. The walk is designed especially for seniors and those with mobility issues, but all walkers are welcome to join this brief lunchtime walk.
Walkers should use the ramp at 979 Lamberton Street for easy access to the park built over N.J. Route 29. Parking is available along Lamberton Street (or in the lot just south of the Trenton Thunder ballpark off NJ 29 south).
